Culinary Week
During the culinary week you will be introduced to local culture and traditions thanks to a mix of cooking classes and authentic culinary adventures. With three cooking classes, each focusing on different aspect of the local cuisine - pasta, pizza, italian antipasti - a cheese farm experience, a tour of the most amazing wineries and a private tour of Otranto and its hidden gems, your culinary week experience will be like no other.
We will take you to off the beaten path locations and make sure you taste all the delicious food and wine that Lecce has to offer!
CULINARY WEEK PROGRAM:

day 1: welcome dinner at a family run tavern + tour of Lecce historical centre

day 2: organic farm visit + cooking class focus on pasta making

day 3: winery tour + tasting / lunch at 2 wineries, one with an ancient wine cellar dating back to the 12th century and one with an old wagon taking you to a tour of the vineyards

day 4: cooking class with dinner following on the foods prepared in class. focus on Pizza making - .

day 5: Cheese factory visit + cheese making demonstration and tasting, or Gallipoli fish market visit with lunch by a local fisherman's house

day 6: cooking class with dinner following on the foods prepared in class - focus on italian antipasti and second courses

day 7: Otranto tour + farewell dinner
